Shiva IoT Cloud is a platform that allows you to collect, analyse and visualise sensor data, generate reports out of it and notify users, if the values measured by the sensors are out of the safe range.
- Shiva IoT Cloud works with all Shiva IoT sensors, no matter what communication technology they use. Platform offers RESTful API, which can be used to integrate it with any third party software. Users can access Shiva IoT Cloud through a web browser or a mobile application.

Telemetry Data Collection
Collect and store telemetry data in reliable way, surviving network and hardware failures. Access collected data using customizable web dashboards or server-side APIs.

Fault Tolerance
All Shiva-IoT servers are identical. No master-workers or hot standby. Node failure is automatically detected. Failed nodes can be replaced without downtime. Persisted data is replicated using reliable NoSQL database.
Device Management
Provides ability to register and manage devices. Allows to monitor client-side and provision server-side device attributes. Provides API for server applications to send RPC commands to devices and vice-versa.
Security
Supports transport encryption for both MQTT and HTTP(s) protocols. Supports device authentication and device credentials management.
Asset Management
Provides ability to register and manage assets. Allows to provision server-side asset attributes and monitor related data. Ability to build hierarchy of entities using relations.
Dashboard – key information at a glance
- Dashboard collects the most important information in one place. You can quickly see the list of all sensors along with their current measurements and statuses, filter out the devices you want to see or browse devices assigned to a specific location.
LOCATIONS
Locations are used to map your organization’s structure in the form of a tree and assign individual sensors to its branches. The method of grouping is not a subject to any restrictions, you can use geographical (e.g. Country -> Province -> City -> Facility), functional (e.g. Type of facility -> City -> Exact location) or other, better suited to your organization.

FILTERS
Wide range of measured values
- Let us know what you want to measure and we will provide you with a sensor. Each Shiva IoT wireless sensor (Bluetooth Low Energy and LTE-M) can measure up to three values. Pick the values you want or check the list of ready made sensors that we have on stock. Do you need to measure something which is not on the list? Contact us and we will check if we can provide you with a sensor to measure it.
- Shiva IoT sensors offer very high accuracy of the measured values. If you wish, at an additional fee, we can provide you with a calibration certificate issued by a certified laboratory. Learn more about the calibration service.
Security of your data
- We know that security of data is important and we take care of it at all points: sensors, gateways and platform. Moreover, we take care of backups, so you never lose your data.
SECURE COMMUNICATION
Communication from the sensor to the IoT platform is fully encrypted. Bluetooth Low Energy sensors send the data to Shiva IoT Gateway with AES 128 encryption and Gateway sends the data to the platform with TLS encryption (https). Shiva IoT LTE-M sensors allow you to configure an APN to make sure that nobody can access your data. Moreover, LTE-M devices will support DTLS encryption in Q3 2020.
